Getting to Iowa City from the Airport

From the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), the easiest way to get to Iowa City is to book an advance reservation with Airport Shuttle Service (located inside the terminal) to downtown to Iowa City. The drive time is approximately 30 minutes from the airport to downtown Iowa City. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Marco’s Taxi (319) 337-8294 is also an option and will cost approximately $40.

Parking in Downtown Iowa City (it’s easy and cheap!)

There is ample parking ramp (localism for garage) space available downtown including adjacent to the Sheraton, rates are first hour free, $1 per hour after. See Getting Around Downtown Iowa City for more details on the 3,086 spots available!
