Dining options near hotel

by Local Arrangements

The Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards caters to conference goers, so you can expect the closest dining options to match what you would normally see near a convention center in a big city: Jimmy Johns, Fogo De Chao, Brio, and the like. Nonetheless, there are a handful of local options if you’re willing to put your walking shoes on.

Pitamore, pitas cooking, https://pitamore.com/photos/

Pitamore on Light Street is your go-to downtown location for falafel, kebabs, baba ganoush, and other Mediterranean specialties.

Pratt Street Ale House, https://www.prattstreetalehouse.com/

Pratt Street Ale House (https://www.prattstreetalehouse.com/ ) has good beer, fried fish, and ample outdoor seating. As you can tell by the name it borders Pratt Street, which can get noisy during rush hour.

B&O American Brasserie (https://bandorestaurant.com/ ), in the Hotel Monaco, has some of the best cocktails downtown and an affordable lunch menu.

Werner’s on Redwood Ave is a classic, old-school Baltimore diner and occasional film set. You may even have seen it in The Wire when Carcetti gets recruited to run for mayor!

If you want to stretch your legs even more, walk south-east into Federal Hill for dozens of cozy restaurants. One local arrangements favorite is Bookmakers, which features burgers and drinks.

Sweet 27 Bakery and Restaurant, Google Street view https://tinyurl.com/yxcnkrf8

We also love the gluten-free restaurant and bakery Sweet 27 and vegan options at the food hall R. House, though you will need to take transportation or ride a bike there.

Finally, don’t forget to join us for Restaurant Night to venture even further afield with friends old and new!
