InstaMeetNOLA at Historic New Orleans Collection
Join us for the third annual RBMS InstaMeet!
An RBMS InstaMeet is fun, and it is also educational community building, with an emphasis on collections outreach via Instagram. We’ll focus on a little shop talk—one-on-one and small group discussions, facilitated by the session leaders, focusing on best practices of Instagram, personal tips and tricks from the InstaExperts, advice on how to host an InstaMeet, and more—and view special materials set aside by our hosts.
The session is open to everyone; InstaMeets bring interested individuals together with professional Instagrammers from major institutions, and invite dialogue about collections, best practices, collaboration, and the joys and challenges of using this visual social media application as an effective outreach tool. The heart of this InstaMeet will be intimate conversation, facilitated by panel participants who represent large universities, research libraries, and independent professional accounts.
