Join Us for the 3rd RBMS Service Project!

Not sure what to do on Friday afternoon now that the walking tours are sold out? Hoping to get outside for a few hours before spending several days in committee meetings at ALA? Looking for a way to relax before returning home? Come see a part of New Orleans you might not otherwise with a Service Project to benefit New Orleans City Park (http://neworleanscitypark.com/), one of the nation’s oldest urban parks!

We’ll be leaving from the Astor Crowne Plaza lobby Friday June 22nd at 1:30PM by taxi or Lyft to volunteer at the park from 2-4:30PM on whatever gardening projects they need at the time, which will definitely involve plenty of fresh air and gorgeous views, before returning to the hotel around 5PM.

There are spots for as many as wish to participate, and you can join us by signing up at the registration desk, or even earlier here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0944a8a92fa0f94-service

A great day for RBMS17 attendees at last year’s service project at Pappy Dickens Preserve

See you this week,
