The New Bo Area includes the <a href=\"http:\/\/newbocitymarket.org\/merchants\/\">City Market<\/a>, which offers a wide variety of food stalls (my personal favorite is La Reyna), as well as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/brewhemia.com\/\"><strong>Brewhemia<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>I haven\u2019t tried the Nitro Coffee, but you should! Personally, I prefer their Americano and one of their gluten free cookies.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/iowasbestpopcorn.com\/\"><strong>Great American Popcorn Co.<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>Go for the wide range of popcorn, stay for the ice cream and candy. If you want an indulgence, this kid-friendly location is a fun choice.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/npbnewbo.com\/\"><strong>Next Page Books<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>This independent book shop is not to be missed. Although it\u2019s small, the owners carefully select books across all genres and love offering recommendations to patrons. Of particular interest is their rich selection in poetry.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/newbomercantile.com\/\"><strong>New Bo Mercantile and Vintage Shop<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>This small shop offers a selection of vintage goods, but it\u2019s best for candle and soap making classes or bulk tea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_674\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/conference.rbms.info\/2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/imgres.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-674\" class=\"size-full wp-image-674\" src=\"http:\/\/conference.rbms.info\/2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/imgres.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"144\" srcset=\"http:\/\/conference.rbms.info\/2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/imgres.jpg 350w, http:\/\/conference.rbms.info\/2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/imgres-300x123.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-674\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cedar Rapids Public Library, from: connect.crlibrary.org<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crlibrary.org\/\"><strong>Cedar Rapids Public Library<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>This building won a variety of awards from local and national organizations devoted to architecture and design. Most notably, it won Library Journal\u2019s 2015 award for Landmark Library. Visit to browse the books, get a coffee from the in-house kiosk, and soak up the sunlight from the meticulously manicured park across the street.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsml.org\/\"><strong>National Czech &amp; Slovak Museum &amp; Library<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>Not far from the New Bo area, the National Czech &amp; Slovak Museum is a major cultural hub within Eastern Iowa.
